Stainless steel anti-roosting spikes, engineered since the 1960s to make a ledge unrestable and inconspicuous enough to read as architectural detail. Bound at the center with gold wire and draped over cement, they stay exactly as sharp as they were. The binding neutralizes nothing. It only places them in relation to one another the single thing their design was built to prevent.
